The bed frame, including side rails and mattress base, is made from 100% solid New Zealand pine wood with no rough or sharp edges. Everything is smoothed and rounded. There are no loose joints or exposed fittings for a child to get trapped or hurt. And, the bed base is set low with solid pine slats and centre rail so children and toddlers can use it.
